Treat yourself to a one-of-a-kind dining experience in the historic heart of Athens. Surround yourself with history and experience world famous Greek hospitality with a private catered dinner at a historical Athenian townhouse.

In what would otherwise be impossible, you are invited to visit a historical private residence and enjoy a specially catered dinner, literally steeped in history. The 19th century neoclassical townhouse is located on one of the oldest city streets in Europe, which has had the same name for over 2,500 years.

Depending on your mood and the weather, you can choose from two delightful dining settings: The charming rooftop terrace with its view of the lit-up Acropolis or the property’s unique glass-floored dining room set over archaeological finds of Tripodon Street below.

The perfect way to really get a taste of Greece through the ages!


Starting Point

Meet your guide at Syntagma Square.

Part 1

Walk down Ermou Street — named for the Greek god Hermes aka Mercury, the god of commerce and protector of merchants.

Part 2

Visit some of Plaka’s key sites:

  • The 900-year-old church of Agios Eleftherios,
  • The 11th century church of Agios Nikolaos Ragavas, which was the first church to ring a bell after the temporary liberation of Athens from the Ottomans in 1822
  • The Choragic Monument of Lysicrates, erected in 334 BCE
  • Tripodon Street, one of the oldest streets in Europe.
Part 3

Arrive at the private 19th century neoclassical townhouse to indulge in a memorable dining experience steeped in history.

Ending Point

The tour ends with a walk back to Syntagma Square or Acropolis Metro Station
