Enrich your stay in Antiparos by taking a live cooking lesson on how locals prepare traditional recipes that use local ingredients and are passed down from one generation to the next. Locals open their homes to visitors that would like to get a taste of the culinary tradition of Antiparos and become actively involved in a hands-on learning experience.

Itinerary

11:30: Meeting Point in front of the Pharmacy on the Main Street in Antiparos Town
10:40 – 13:20: Meet the resident of the local house and participate in a live demonstration of how traditional recipes are prepared.
13:20 – 13:30: After the end of the cooking lesson the visitors will return to the meeting point
where they will be offered a cold beverage (homemade iced tea/homemade iced lemonade with
ginger)

Highlights

Enjoy a private tour where you will have the chance to cook in a house kitchen and learn the secrets of local recipes.

Since the ingredients are local and seasonal, the recipes and their time requirements vary but most of the times two recipes will be demonstrated during the 2 hours.

At the end of the cooking class , guests will be offered homemade iced tea or homemade iced lemonade with ginger.
