I was born in Athens and live in Athens today.

 

Describe your art in one sentence.

My work refers to social and political issues, cultural practices and normalities; I explore issues like the confinement of contemporary individual, the politics of gender, social and family structures, the image of the Self and the Other.

 

Tell us about your most recent project? Where did you get your inspiration for it?

I recently completed a series of drawings inspired by George Bataille’s novel Story of the Eye and I am presenting them in the London Art Fair with Tint Gallery.

 

What is your favorite place to visit in Athens?

I love to walk around in the historical center.

 

What is your favorite part about interacting with guests on DGC?

I love to interact with people of various cultures, ages and backgrounds who are also interested in today’s Greek reality and culture.
