Focusing on a day in the life of a young Athenian in the Ancient Agora, this tour offers children an engaging introduction to Antiquity and Archeology  . Through play, our young guests are encouraged to explore life in ancient Athens, understand the role of the Agora, and learn about the fundamental principles of democracy that were born here. The tour also introduces young guests to the process of archaeological discovery, in a fun and approachable way that resonates with young minds.

Explore the Ancient Agora and learn about its key role in public life from the democratic principles  that were honed here to the fun games that children played on these grounds over 2,000 years ago.

Visit the Temple of Hephaestus, formerly known as the Theseion, and hear the fascinating myth of the Athenian hero Theseus and his struggle against the Minotaur.

Take a guided tour of the Ancient Agora Museum , with a particular focus on exhibits related to Athenian Democracy and the everyday life of children in ancient Athens.
